Well, as we have some new members here to our group I also make a short introduction to myself which I have not yet done in a proper way if my memory serves right. I am 29 years old and live in Vienna, Austria.

I have a PhD in chemistry and I am working as a teaching assistant at the Vienna University of Technology. At the moment I am looking for another job as  an academic career is not really in my mind and probably I will leave my job at the university behind pretty soon.

Although I was a child at the time I have been following Formula 1 since the mid B470s when Niki Lauda turned into a national hero in Austria because of his success. As there have always been some Austrians participating in Formula 1 and therefore a lot of media attention was there, it was always pretty easy to follow the sports here.

I went to the Hungarian Grand Prix twice so far - 1995 and 1996, 1995 was a memorable experience, in 1996 it was not so much fun any longer, so I had not much intention of attending Grand Prix in 1997, although that season saw the return of an Austrian Grand Prix to the calendar.

I am following various sports, for example skiing, and I am do ing some myself as well - inline-skating, cycling, skiing, etc. Otherwise I   am also very interested in music and own a large collection of records and CDB4s and I also love travelling a lot.
