SCCA Solo II (autocross/gymkhana) and TSD Rallying, both for over 25
years. I currently compete in Solo II in a D Street Prepared 1971 MGB.
1994 and 1997 regional DSP champion. 1995, 1996 and 1998 DMVR Rally
Champion. In my younger and crazier days I also raced Hare Scrambles on a
Hodaka 125 Combat Wombat and later on an OSSA 250 Phantom, and am a
graduate of the California Superbike School (at Road America). In addition
to being Regional Executive and webmaster of the Des Moines Valley Region
of the SCCA I'm also a charter member of the Iowa British Car Club and a
Life Member of the American Motorcyclist Association. 

I hold SCCA Regional Race Control, Solo II Safety Steward and Road Rally
Safety Steward licenses and attended the 1997 DMVR-SCCA Crash-Fire-Rescue
School. I have not worked a road race since the demise of the Greater Des
Moines Grand Prix but my other two licenses get used pretty often each season.

Lifelong motorsport enthusiast with an emphasis on road racing since
discovering Road & Track at the age of ten (Phil Hill's Championship
Season). I'm especially fond of vintage sports car racing.
